Social Justice Highlight

Adoption and the Pro-Life Movement

The pro-life movement is one of the strongest, most well-known social justice movements in the Catholic community.  Thousands of people come to Washington, D.C. each year for the March for Life, and pro-life groups are active in Catholic dioceses throughout the country.  Many of you are likely to be familiar with these issues.

In the context of pro-life activities, have you ever considered promoting or supporting adoption and foster care agencies?  Seeking an end to abortion is the central focus of the pro-life movement, and rightly so.  Promoting adoption is another way to be a pro-life activist.
