Teach in the Dominican Republic

Response-Ability, a ministry of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, is accepting applications for three women volunteers to teach in a Montessori-based school on the outskirts of Santo Domingo. We welcome applicants of all major and faith backgrounds; proficient knowledge of Spanish, experience working with children, a desire to grow with the community, and a spirit of joy are essential. SOME (So Others Might Eat) is an interfaith, community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation's capital.

**There is limited volunteer housing available, so potential candidates should notify SOME as soon as possible if they are interested in housing. SOME also offers a monthly $300 stipend and transportation reimbursement.
